A competitive fire from a young age.
From the suburban fields of New Jersey to the campus of UNC, Heather was a winner. But winning to her was a by-product of doing something she loved with intensity, focus, and grit. This attitude lead to a state championship in high school in New Jersey, two National Championships in Chapel Hill, 4 different professional titles, 231 appearances with the US Women’s National Team, and countless other honors. Even with a huge collection of the winnings and titles, relationships with teammates and work ethic stood out above the rest.
“To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift.”
